Laurel & Peter – Wedding

Laurel is the sister of a good friend of mine, so it was both a privilege and a lot of fun getting to know another member of the family. Laurel and I discussed in advance what type of wedding images she liked and what kinds of style were most attractive to her, she has very good taste. Once the wedding day came around it was fun to see how Laurel put attention and detail into all the elements of her wedding day. On the wedding day I got to know Peter as we were photographing, he was a lot of fun. The neighbors had a wonderful backyard, that they graciously let us photograph in, and there were almond orchids on the side of the house and of course the road right outside the reception area. Kameron Olds, an amazing photographer, from Shooting Gallery Photography assisted me with this wedding since it was up in central California. Thanks Laurel and Peter for having us be a part of this special day.

Jennie & Howard – Engagement

Jennie and Howard were a blast, I couldn’t have asked for a friendlier couple to photograph. They were, casual, funny and ready to try anything. Thanks guys for making this shoot a really great time. We started at Union Station, where I had Jennie and Howard stand still, kissing / holding each other, while people were walking passed them – this was a good ice-breaker! Then we took the metro over to Pershing Square and then walked to Walt Disney Concert Hall where we got our final images of the day.

Airplanes – Fashion

Jen and Lyndie are sisters and months before this “Trash The Dress” event Jen contacted me and asked if I wanted to come along and photograph her and her sister. Then the day of, they got everything together and we drove way out to this airplane museum where we would meet about sixteen other photographers and 15 or so models. Chris Austin was hosting the entire event. Lyndie was able to get her hair and make up done quickly, however Jen was the last to get hers done so we had to hurry and get all the images before the sun went down. Thanks Jen and Lyndie for being great models, we had a lot of fun!
